Chickens & The Capitol Posted on March 23, 2019March 23, 2019 Who would’ve thought, who could’ve guessed. Matthew & N’gella have chickens! Fuzzy, fluffy, chirping charm! N’gella is a little reluctant about holding them… but they grow on you! Winter is melting, spring is springing. Here are a few snapshots of daily life in past weeks. Julianna, Carolyn, Susanna & Lydia enjoying a snack break in the mild outdoors. Carolyn is eagerly preparing her gardens for flowers and vegetables. She has been avidly looking up gardening tips, preparing her soil, drying or buying seeds and planning her crops. What better way to brighten your Dad’s day than with his favorite cookies!(Dad & Kathryn) Mom & Susanna working on orchestra music. We’ve been up at the Capitol / Legislative Office Building many times in the past two months testifying at public hearings in opposition to several important bills, seeking to respectfully and clearly speak in favor of life and freedom. You should see Dad parallel park a 15-passenger van on the street in Hartford! A beautiful view of the sunset through a window in the LOB. “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days…”Deuteronomy 30:19-20
